Building development

Our vision is to have the church doors open to the neighbourhood and wider community.  We believe that there is much potential for day time use to benefit the wider community and to this end, we have now completed a major premises development programme in five phases that has taken about five years...... 

      The New entrance ~ 2005

     The Atrium

This was begun in May 2007.  It links together the church, the hall at the back, the two meeting rooms, the kitchen and the toilets.

The Atrium has now been completed with decoration, heating, lighting and carpet.

The fourth phase ~ The Rear Hall involved demolition of the original toilets and the kitchen, both of which were located in the rear hall. It also involved, among other things, the construction of a large storage cupboard, the installation of new doors and windows and a completely new heating system. As in previous phases of development, some of the work was done professionally, but much was done by church members.

     The fifth and final phase ~ the garden area

 Now complete with a soft play area and a range of plants.
